Plastic Bags
Plastic Bags is one of the images in the Plastic Surf photo series, which uses photography to illustrate single use plastic pollution problem occurring in the worlds oceans. As part of a personal photo campaign to bring awareness of plastic (plastic bags) in our Oceans and to help protect our environment, a photo of a female surfer sitting on her surfboard was photographed, as she floats in the water with a view of plastic bags polluting the water under her. With the appearance of Jelly Fish, plastic bags are harmful to our oceans because sea life; such as, Sea turtles mistake bags as Jelly Fish.
This conceptual photo illustration has been recognized and won awards in 2018 and 2019 as one of 200 Best Worldwide Digital Artists and 200 Best Ad Photographs by Lürzer's Archive, APA National, IPA (Int'l Photography Awards).
